Blagoveshchensk, Russia, Nov 14 (Sputnik) One person died and three others were wounded in a shooting incident at a college in Russia’s Far Eastern city of Blagoveshchensk, the Health Ministry of the Amur Region told Sputnik, citing preliminary data, on Thursday. “According to preliminary data, one person died and three people were injured in the shooting at a college. Those injured include two teenagers and a young man,” the ministry said. Meanwhile, social media users have published videos from the scene. The footage shows police vehicles parked outside the college building. Another video shows an injured young man lying on the floor. Earlier on Thursday, the regional Education and Science Ministry confirmed to Sputnik that a shooting incident had taken place at the college. The emergencies center of Blagoveshchensk confirmed the incident, too. “There was a shooting there. The area is currently cordoned off,” its spokesperson told Sputnik. However, they had not provided any further details on the incident.
