New Delhi, Dec 19 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said nothing can be achieved out of the Citizenship Amendment Act and said there is no need for it at this time.
“Nothing will be achieved out of this law (CAA). I urge the Centre that there is no need of this law at this time. The priority should be that the youth are given jobs,” Kejriwal told the media.
On the city facing several protests against the Act, Kejriwal said not just Delhi but the entire nation is facing law and order situation.
“People are in fear, not just Muslims but Hindu, Sikhs and Christians are also scared. People are scared how will they prove their citizenship.”
He said he is worried about the deteriorating law and order situation.
