4 security men injured in grenade attack in Srinagar

Slain Jaish militants were planning big; 11 AKs, pistols recovered: Police

Srinagar: Four security personnel, including a policeman, suffered minor injuring in a grenade attack at Nowhata in old Srinagar city on Wednesday, sources said.

They said militants threw a grenade at the security personnel in the evening hours near the Jama Masjid. Those injured included three Sashastra Seema Bal personnel.

The injured were shifted to the hospital even as additional police force was rushed to the spot.
