At least 34 people were killed in a roadside bomb blast on Herat-Kandhar Highway early on Wednesday morning, officials confirmed. TOLO news reported that the deceased included women and children. Security forces have sealed the entire area and details are awaited. The blast came a day after a suicide attack at a busy market in Kandhar province claimed 3 lives and injured 23. (UNI)
