Remaining as a close confidant of Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, the Union finance minister Arun Jaitley has reportedly volunteered to opt out of the new ministry.
According to reports Jaitley has written to the prime minister to excuse him from any responsibility for pure health reasons and also clarified that he should be allowed some time for himself and for his treatments, and therefore would not be possible for him to bear the burden of any responsibility.
