The BJP on Saturday organised a unique training programme for its Members from both Houses of Parliament. The two-day workshop, ‘Abhyas Varga’ was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, BJP Working president Jagat Prakash Nadda, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi and Social Justice Minister Thawarchand Gehlot among others were present on the occasion.
Other party leaders, including Anurag Thakur, Giriraj Singh, Pragya Singh Thakur, Ravi Kishan and Gautam Gambhir BJP MP from East Delhi, are also attending the training programme organised at Parliament Library Building.
The basic idea of the training programme is to update the newly elected lawmakers about their rights and duties and how they can improve their performance in legislative business, debates, asking questions etc.
Sources said Shah and Nadda would address the party MPs on Saturday while Prime Minister Modi will interact and address them on Sunday.
