BJP’s victory will send shock waves to Pakistan: Gujarat CM

Vijay Rupani

Gujarat Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Vijay Rupani on Friday claimed that the Lok Sabha election in the country was between Chowkidars versus Chors (security guards vs thieves) and in a way also between India and Pakistan.

Addressing a party event on the occasion of the nomination of BJP candidate and sitting MP on Vadodara seat Ranjanben Bhatt, CM Rupani said, ‘this election was between Chowkidar vs Chor and between those who were eliminating terrorists vs those who gave shelter to them.’

“It is between the honest and transparent government of PM Narendra Modi and the looters of Mahagathbandhan,” he said.

Saying that the election was also in a way between India and Pakistan, the CM said that if BJP and Modi won the election there would be Matam (mourning) in Pakistan. “Though Congress is not going to win but if somehow it wins then fire-crackers would be burst in Pakistan where it would be celebrated like a festival,” he added.
