The invitation from the Pakistan inviting the external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj to Kartarpur for attending the Kartarpur ceremony was welcomes by Swaraj. However, she has expressed her inability to attend due to preoccupation but has deputed two other ministers Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Hardeep Singh Puri to attend the ceremony. Which is seen as a good gesture by both sides.
