Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to do away the interviews to the candidates, being recruited by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) to various government departments. The Chief Minister held a review meeting with the APPSC officials here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, he directed the APPSC officials to revoke conducting of interviews to the candidates, while recruiting them into various government departments. This initiative should come into effect from January, 2020, he told the officials.
The Chief Minister opined that the initiative would make the process of recruitment through APPSC transparent and flawless.
He asked the official to release a calendar for the filling up of vacant posts during January, 2020.
Mr Reddy asked the APPSC officials to consider making the IIT and IIM partners in conducting examinations for the recruitment. (UNI)
