Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik , cutting across the political differences, went to the residence of Damodar Rout to pay homage to his wife who died today after a prolonged illness. This must go as a good gesture from the chief minister who chose to be there amid the blaze of electioneering . Rout had remained a senior member of the Janata Dal and later the Biju Janata Dal.
