The chief minister Naveen Patnaik has taken exception to the role-reversal of union government over the Post Matric Scholarship given to students of SC & ST with a ratio of 90% and 10% born by Union Social Justice and Empowerment and Odisha government but from 2018-19 union ministry has reversed the sharing pattern for 80% for the state and 20% by the union ministry. Pattnaik has shot a letter to union ministry to restore the earlier sharing.
