It has remained a lingering problem whether the deep interior (garbhagriha) of Sun temple as its clinical treatment is hanging in balance since 2015 post Central Building Research Institute report in 2015 and 2017 as the ASI has not taken up the follow-up to open the ‘garbhagriha’. Fear is that if the measures not taken then any measure natural calamity can cause serious damage to it, say experts.
