Congress president Rahul Gandhi today said his party and its allies will protect the ‘Jal, Jungle and Zameen’ of Jharkhand and will not leave an inch no matter who stands before them.
Addressing an election rally while campaigning for party candidate Kalicharan Munda from Khunti Lok Sabha seat here, he said neither the Congress nor its allies were scared of any one. “We are not scared of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as benefits will reach the tribals and the farmers and no matter which power rises…..or even the sky comes down, the Congress and its allies will protect the Jal Junglee and Zameen of Jharkhand,” he said.

Mr Gandhi said that in the last five years the Prime Minister made many promises to the people including creating two crore jobs every year, helping the tribals and protecting their land, providing right price to the farmers for their products and crediting Rs 15 lakh to the bank accounts of the people. However, work was done for merely 15-20 people including Anil Ambani, Adani, Neerav Modi and Mehul Choksi.

He said that in the last 5 years Mr Modi wavied off loans worth 5,50,000 crore of 15-20 corrupt and rich people but failed to repeat his kind virtues for the tribals, farmers, youth, women and shopkeepers.

He said that the entire MNREGA budget of the country worth Rs 35000 crore was given to Nirav Modi. ‘ This money could have been used for generating employment for people across the nation,” Mr Gandhi said.
