In view of enhancing answerability of the schools towards the wards of students, the Delhi government on Saturday launched a project for installation of CCTV cameras in all government schools.

Speaking during the launch of the project, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said this will be a milestone in school education, as it will make it possible for parents to have a live feed from the classrooms, via an application.He further said that this move will ensure safety and security of the students.

Expressing confidence over the success of the project, he said “I am expecting spectacular results next year, as a result of this project. I do not think so far any project has made me as happy as this one. In the coming times, this project will prove to be a milestone for the whole world.”
