The Election Commission on Thursday held a meeting of central observers in the national capital ahead of the seven-phase Lok Sabha elections which will commence from April 11.
The meeting is being held to give insight to the central observers about their roles during the poll duty, the sources said.
The observers belong to different central services such as Indian Revenue Service, the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service.
The central observers will be on the poll duty till the end of the elections.
Counting of the polls will be held on May 23. (UNI)
