Amid hectic parleys by opposition BJP to destibilise JD(S)-Congress government in Karnataka, former chief minister Siddaramaiah said on Wednesday that all efforts are being made to safeguard the coalition government and BJP’s unethical moves to lure Congress MLAs to its fold will be defeated.
The BJP is working overtime to lure disgruntled Congress MLAs and trigger the fall of the seven-month old government. The saffron party had succeeded in convincing two independent legislators – R Shankar and H Nagesh to withdraw their support to the coalition government, yesterday.
