In a tragic incident, five students drowned in Saryu river here in Belaghat area on late Wednesday evening. Police sources confirmed about the incident here on Thursday, they said, the students, who came to their native village on Holi, went to swim in Saryu river when they got drowned.
Initially the family members did not aware about the incident but when they went to search them at late night, they found their cloths and mobile phone. The deceased, all native of Balai Khurd village, were identified as Satyam (14), Saurabh (19), Nitesh (16), Aman (17) and Adarsh (23).
