INS Chilka: As the nation pushes closer to a historic 75 years of her Independence, a cross country “Freedom Run” was organised at INS Chilka on 17 Mar 21. The run was organised to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence which is also termed as “Bharat Ka Amrit Mahotsav” as an accolade to sacrifices, struggle and gallant courage displayed by our freedom fighters.
The unit witnessed ebullient participation from all members of the Station community comprising Service personnel and trainees, who whole heartedly participated in the event. The 7 kilometer run was flagged of by Commodore NP Pradeep, Commanding Officer, INS Chilka.
