Panaji, Nov 2 (UNI) Goa Governor designate Satya Pal Mailk arrived in the state on Saturday. Upon his arrival at Dabolim Airport in South Goa, he was received by Goa Assembly Speaker Rajesh Patnekar, Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat and Urban Development Minister Milind Naik. Later, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant called on the Governor designate and welcomed him. In a tweet, the Chief Minister said,”Extended a warm welcome to the Governor-designate Shri Satya Pal Malik ji at Raj Bhavan, Goa. Congratulated him and conveyed my best wishes for a successful tenure.” Mr Malik will be sworn-in as Governor of Goa on November 3, 2019. Chief Justice of Bombay High Court Justice Pradeep Nandrajog will administer the oath of office. Mr Malik was appointed Governor of Goa by President Ram Nath Kovind on October 25, 2019.
