Kerala Governor Justice (Retd) P Sathasivam and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan have greeted people of the State on the occasion of Easter.
“On the solemn occasion of Easter, I convey my hearty greetings to the people of Kerala and other Keralites all over the world,” the Governor said in a message.
“May the blessed celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ fill our hearts with compassion and inspire us to serve the weak and downtrodden in a spirit of love and oneness,” he added.
Vijayan said Easter upholds the values of compassion, hope, love, faith and morality in peoples’ lives.
Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala and BJP State President PS Sreedharan Pillai had also greeted people on the occasion.
