It was one Dr.Tejas Patel, the chairman of the Ahmedabad’s apex cardiac Institute who was credited with over 85,000 cardiac procedures had performed 300 robotic surgeries before performing the telerobotic coronary intervention from 32 kms away on Wednesday. Dr.Patel is a Padamshree award winner and was also conferred with the Prof BC Roy award
