Serial Blasts In Sri lanka in Easter Sunday, Chuches And Hotels Hit; nearly 80 people were reported dead, till last reports. Over 300 rushed to hospital multiple explosions were reported in Sri Lanka’s capital city, Colombo on Sunday during Easter Sunday mass.

People had gathered in churches across the country for Easter celebrations on Sunday. According to Sri Lanka media more than 80 people have been reported dead and more than 200 have been injured following several explosions. Reports inform that the blast had taken at at least six places across the nation, three of which were churches while other three were in hotels.

The hotels that were hit by explosions included five star hotels like Srinagari-La Hotel, Cinnamon Grand Hotel and Kingsbury Hotel. According to several reports from Sri Lanka, the blast took place at the churches in Batticaloa, Negombo and Colombo and in Hotels in Colombo including the Shangri La and Kingsbury.

On Thursday, local media of Sri Lanka revealed that female de-mining labourers were critically wounded when a landmine suddenly blasted in Muhamalai, Kilinochchi in northern Sri Lanka.
