(UNI) The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is to set up six incubation centers across the country to attract young talents having interests in Space science.
Addressing media here, the ISRO chairman Dr K Sivan said “We have also developed incubation center at Tripura for the young scientists who can contribute in the space programme.The navigation, payload and communication are the fields where they can contribute”.
He also said any model or technology developed by these students will be bought by ISRO.
He also said ISRO has tied up with National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jaipur, Kurukshetra, Varanashi, Patna, Kanyakumari and Jammu and the young scientists will be encouraged to develop not only satellites but the other up gradation in the technology as well.
“We have initiated programme to reach out the masses and especially the students of the country and a collective efforts are needed to inculcate, nurture and enhance the scientific temper of the country”,
