The Goyal couple were offloaded from a Dubai-bound Emirates flight. They have to take a connecting London flight from Dubai, sources said here. The action was taken against them in connection with the Jet Airways crisis case. Later, a spokesperson for the Emirates said Mr Goyal and his wife, travelling from Mumbai to outside India, were restricted from leaving the country. The airline is bound to cooperate with authorities and the country’s law they operate in.The debt-ridden airline has been facing a mountain debt of Rs 8,500 crore. On April 17, the airline has to suspend all its flight operations temporarily due to lack of funds. It has not paid its employees since January.
