New Delhi: While the war of words between the political parties has intensified as the battle for February 8 election approaches, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has now invited BJP’s star campaigners from outside for sightseeing.
While he had said on Tuesday that the various parties have joined hands against him, on Wednesday he asked the outsider campaigners to enjoy Akshardham and Lotus Temple as they came here to seek votes for the BJP.
“BJP’s 200 MPs, 70 ministers and 11 CMs are coming to Delhi for campaigning. Delhiites have groomed Delhi with hard work in five years. Do not insult their hard work,” Kejriwal tweeted in Hindi.
Using the Sanskrit shloka ‘Atithidevo Bhava’ (The guest is like god), Kejriwal said he has organised ‘Delhi Darshan’ for them.
“You can enjoy Akshardham, Lotus Temple etc,” he added.
Delhi is going to polls on February 8 and the parties are not leaving any stone unturned for campaigning.
