In an attempt to win all the six Lok Sabha seats coming under the Mumbai-Karnataka region, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public meeting at Chikkodi tomorrow.
Speaking to newsmen, here, senior BJP leader Mahantesh Kavatagi Mutt said that more than two lakh people are expected to attend the meeting from Belagavi, Chikkodi, Dharwad and Gadag.
He said that BJP which had won five Lok Sabha seats, out of six, in the 2014 elections is working hard to clinch the Chikkodi Lok Sabha seat, which was lost to Congress candidate Prakash Hukkeri, by a slender margin of 3000 votes.
It is the second visit to the Chikkodi by Modi, he had addressed a huge Farmers Convention during the Assembly elections in 2018. (UNI)
