A man committed suicide after allegedly murdering his younger brother’s wife in the Gyanpur area of this district in Uttar Pradesh, police spokesperson said on Thursday.
The spokesperson here said Subhash Harijan, a resident of Bhadohi killed his younger brother Nanhe’s 35-year-old wife Raj Kumari by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon.
After killing the woman, Subhash went outside the house and committed suicide after hanging himself from a tree.
Upon receiving information, police reached the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
The motive behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.
