A man allegedly set his motorbike on fire here on Thusrday in an inebriated state after being fined for the same.
As per the police, during a drive against drunk and drive, a motorcyclist was stopped and found to have consumed alcohol above the permissible limit.
The man, identified as Rakesh, in response to police action of impounding his vehicle as per the rules, set his bike afire near Triveni Complex, Chirag Delhi under Malviya Nagar Police Station limits.
Immediately a fire brigade rushed to the spot to douse off the flames.
A case been registered against the man, police said.
