Bhopal, Aug 21 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stalwart and erstwhile Madhya Pradesh chief minister Babulal Gaur passed away early Wednesday at a city-based hospital following prolonged illness. He was 89.
Confirming the development, BJP state Media In-charge Lokendra Parashar said, “Mr Gaur was experiencing difficulty in breathing.”
He adorned the chief ministerial position in 2004 after Ms Uma Bharati bowed out of office.
