Tel Aviv: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is going into quarantine after a close aide tested positive for coronavirus, reports said on Monday.
Netanyahu will be in quarantine along with close advisers, Israeli media reported, citing the Prime Minister’s office.
The PM’s aide on Knesset affairs tested positive for coronavirus on Monday, and Netanyahu decided to go in self-isolation as a precaution.
Israel currently has 4,347 confirmed cases, out of which 16 patients have died and 134 have recoverd.
