After the President of India Ram Nath Kovind rejected the mercy petition of the four accused in Nirbhaya case, the hanging of the accused has been fixed for February 1 by a Delhi court. Earlier the court had ordered the hanging of the accused for January 22 but, the sentence was subsequently postponed after the mercy petition by Mukesh Singh.
