Senior Congress leader and former Union minister Salman Khurshid has suggested that no politics should be done over the air strikes by IAF in Pakistan.
“Politics over air strikes will send a wrong message in the world and even our enemy would think we are not united,” he said.
Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, the Congress leader said the government should also clarify and answer any queries of the people. ” In democracy the government is answerable to the people and if there is any doubt, the government should clarify it,” he said.
” But it is unfortunate that the government without clarifying the outcome of the air attack, was trying to do politics,” Mr Khurshid added.
Claiming that Congress had always sacrificed for the nation, the former union minister said his party will do what is good for the country. (UNI)
