While the camp managers of the JD(S)-Coalition partners, are trying their best to win back the rebels, the Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders are equally busy in thwarting any efforts of the alliance partners in Karnataka.

The senior Congress leaders including CLP leader Siddaramaiah, Water Resources minister D K Shivakumar and KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao, had managed to convince the rebel Congress MLA and the minister M T B Nagaraj, who had promised to remain in Congress, the Congress leaders are now eyeing on Ramalinga Reddy and K Sudhakar, two other prominent rebels.

M T B Nagaraj is one among the 13 Congress MLAs, who had submitted their resignations to the Assembly. In a day-long efforts the Congress leaders had convinced M T B Nagaraj, who had resigned to his Assembly seat on Thursday last, are being now targeted Dr K Sudhakar to change his mind and save the state government.

Dr K Sudhakar, who had flown to Mumbai on Saturday evening, was reportedly contacted by former Chief minister Siddaramaiah and pleaded him to disassociate with the other rebel MLAs, and return to Bengaluru for discussion.

Dr Sudhakar, who was manhandled by the Congress leaders, immediately after he had submitted his resignation on Thursday last, is reportedly responded positively to the feelers sent by the Coalition leaders.
