It may be pointed out that the Supreme Court last year had allowed entry of women into the Sabarimala temple but the BJP in Kerala maintained that the judiciary should not interfere in the matter of faith.
The apex court has lately on a review petition has reserved its final verdict.
The shrine board is controlled by the Kerala government, which has opposed any review of the top court’s September order that opened the temple doors to women between the ages of 10 and 50.
