Pawar flays Modi in election rally

Minorities vote for parties which can defeat BJP: Pawar

Addressing an election rally for the NCP-Congress combine candidate from Kalyan constituency, Babaji Patil at Ulhasnagar on Tuesday night, NCP chief Sarad Pawar lashing out at the Prime minister to say that  Modi criticises the NCP and Congress, but never tells what the BJP and the Shiv Sena have done during the last five years.

Reiterating the Rafale issue and criticising the Modi-Ambani relations in it, Mr Pawar said Mr Modi never shows the preparedness to find out as to how much each one has earned from the deal.

‘When our government comes to power it will go into it and find out the details,’ he declared.

‘Everyone knows what Mr Modi has done to his family and now, he is poking his nose into our family affairs.

Mr Modi criticises Nehru, but the same Nehru brought industries in the country after freedom, Indira Gandhi brought Pakistan to terms, and Rajiv Gandhi brought in the revolution of TVs, Computer and Mobile technology in the country,’ he said.

Modi brought in Demonitisation and ruined the country, he added.

In October 2014, Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray called Mr Modi and the BJP leaders an ‘Army of Afzal Khan,’ at Tuljapur in Maharashtra.

‘What are they trying to accomplish? First Modi came, then his entire Cabinet has come to campaign, it’s as if the whole Afzal Khan’s army has landed here to conquer the state,’ he added.
