The Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee(PCC) on Sunday condemned the arrest of former union minister and congress leader P Chidambaram, a statement said. PCC president A Namasivayam said that cases were foisted against Chidambaram and was arrested to take political vengeance on him. The PCC would organise a demonstration in front of the Head Post office here on Monday evening to condemn the BJP government led by Narendra Modi for this action. Chief minister V Narayansamy,his cabinet colleagues,party legislators and congress part functionaries and cadres would take part in the agitation.(UNI)
