Renowned Yakshagana exponent Hudagodu Chandrahasa died of massive heart attack while performing on the stage

In a tragic incident Renowned Yakshagana exponent Hudagodu Chandrahasa (52) died while he was performing on the stage at Jogibettu Village in Byndoor on Sunday night.

The Yakshagana artist hails from Uttara Kannada district was an exponent of Badagutittu form of Yakshagana. He collapsed at the  stage itself while performing the role of King Salva, organised by the Jalavalli Mela in Jogibettu and breathed his last.
Several prominent personalities including former ministers Ramanath Rai, Vinayakumar Sorake, Nagaraja Shetty
and others had condoled the demise of the Yakshagana artist.
