In a sudden change in the political climate there is an air of dissent in the BJD over dropping of the sitting MLA, Dr.R Chou Patnaik from the list for 2019. Showing dissent to the decision by the BJD leadership, local MP from BJD, Siddhant Mohapatra has also stood in favour of Chau Patnaik and said that in that case the BJD vote shall be severely affected in the constituency.
