The Rupee on Friday recovered by 19 paise to 69.15 against the greenback on fresh selling of US Dollars by exporters, dealers at Forex Market said.
Tumbling down by 45 paise on Thursday, the local unit moved up by 13 paise to 69.21 in opening trade. Finally, it ended positive at 69.15, gaining by 19 paise from its last close.
High fluctuation was seen during the day as it registered day high and low at 69.32 and 69.03 respectively.
The Rupee went up because of weak dollar against other world currencies along with strong equity market, they added. (UNI)
