Russia successfully tests world’s first floating nuclear power plant

Russia has successfully tested the world’s first floating nuclear power plant (NPP), a subsidiary of Rosatom nuclear corporation confirmed on Wednesday.
“Successful tests are a great achievement of a large team of Rosatom. In recent months, all necessary inspections of the NPP’s systems and equipment have been carried out with a gradual increase in its capacity in accordance with the plan,” Sputnik quoted the nuclear power station operator Rosenergoatom saying.
