One of the Hindu parties, Ramjanmabhumi Samiti, on Wednesday told the Supreme Court’s five-judge Constitution bench that there is no record or history which established the existence of a mosque at the disputed site in Ayodhya.
“History can’t reveal there is any mosque there at the disputed site at Ayodhya,” Mr PN Mishra submitted to the apex court hearing a batch of appeals against the 2010 Allahabad High Court trifurcation of the 2.77 acres of the disputed site at Ayodhya on Day 24 of the consideration of the high-profile controversy that has riveted the nation.
