Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has said that the state government was going to implement several measures to bring about a revolution in the education sector in Goa.
Speaking at the function to felicitate meritorious SSC students of Mushtifund High School in Cujira, near the city, on Saturday, the Chief Minister, however, said that for this, the support of the people was important.
Dr Sawant said the government was focusing on starting career-oriented courses and would lay stress on skill education. He said holding aptitude tests for students was very important so that the student could choose their appropriate field of study and career.
He assured the management of resolving pending issues faced by the school.
The felicitation function was organised by the management of the Mushtifund Saunstha and Mushtifund High School’s Parent-Teacher Association.
