Keonjhar, Apr 12: BJP National President Amit Shah today slammed Congress President Rahul Gandhi for keeping mum on the statement on separate prime minister for J&K by former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
Addressing Vijaya sankalp Samavesh here, Mr Shah said Mr Rahul Gandhi did not react to the statement former J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah who said there should be two Prime Minister, one for India and another for Jammu and Kashmir.
He asked the people “Can there be two prime minister in a country.”
“But Rahul Gandhi kept mum on the remark of Mr Abdullah just for the vote bank, Mr Shah remarked.
Stating that Jammu and Kashmir is the integral part of India, Mr Shah said nobody can take away Kashmir as long as BJP is there in the country.
Mr Shah said, during the ten years of UPA government led by Prime minister Manmohan Singh, the Pakistan terrorists attacked on Indian soil but neither Prime Minister Manmohan Singh nor Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi did anything to give Pakistan a befitting reply.
Whereas after the terrorist attack in Pulwama in which 40 CRPF personnel were martyred, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ordered the Air Force to bomb the terrorists training centre at Balakot in Pakistan.
Mr Shah said, when the entire country was celebrating the bombing of terrorist training centre by the Indian Air force, only Pakistan and Rahul and company were questioning the action of the Air Force.
Reacting to Congress leader Sam Pitroda’s comment that India should initiate and enter to a dialogue with Pakistan, Mr Shah asked the people to comment “whether we want talk or bomb.” (UNI)
