Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Kerala and were above normal in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh,Assam,Meghalaya,west Madhya Pradesh,Marathwada, Vidarbha,Telangana,Rayalaseema,and north interior Karnataka.
Day temperatures were normal over the rest of the country.The highest maximum temperature recorded over the plains was 38.3 degrees celsius in Gulberga of north interior Karnataka.
Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of west Rajasthan and were below normal in some parts of Nagaland,Manipur,Mizoram,Tripura,Gangetic West Bengal,Haryana,Chandigarh and Delhi,east Rajasthan,Madhya Pradesh,madhya Maharashtra and were appreciably above normal in some parts of Odisha,Saurashtra,Kutch,coastal Andhra Pradesh,Telangana,Rayalaseema,Tamil Nadu and in remaining parts of madhya Maharashtra.
Night temperatures above normal in some parts of Assam,Meghalaya,Jharkhand,Punjab,Gujarat region, Marathwada,Vidarbha and in remaining parts of Gangetic West Bengal,Odisha,Madhya Pradesh,coastal Andhra Pradesh,and Tamil Nadu.
Night temperatures were normal over rest of the region.The lowest minimum temperature recorded in the plains was 9 degrees celsius in Shivpuri of west Madhya Pradesh.
Dense fog observed in the morning hours at isolated places over Haryana,north Rajasthan,Chandigarh and Delhi.
Thunderstorm along with lightning and gusty winds is very likely at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal,Arunachal Pradesh,Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim,Odisha,Jharkhand,Tamil Nadu,and Kerala.
Squally winds with speed reaching up to 40-50 kmph is very likely over northwest Bay of Bengal off north Odisha-West Bengal coasts.Fishermen are advised not to venture into this area during next 24 hours.
