Senior IPS officer SMH Mirza today appeared before the CBI investigating officials at Nizam Palace, a day after he was summoned to face questioning on his alleged involvement in Narada sting operations where many politicians and an IPS officer were seen taking bundled of notes.
Official sources have knowledge on the development said the IPS officer on civil dress reported to the
CBI officials at Nizam Palace as per scheduled and the quiz began when the fresh report came in.
The IPS officer was seen arrived at the CBI office with one of his assistant carrying files in a bag.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probing the Saradha chitfund scam also stepped its finding on the accused of Narada sting operation,in which 12 politicians, including ministers, MPs and MLAs, all, ruling
TMC and the IPS officer have been named in an FIR. The Narada sting operation, which was carried out by journo Mathew Samuel targeting high-ranking officials and politicians of the All India Trinamool Congress.
It showed several politicians and a high-ranked police officer accepting cash-bribes in exchange for providing unofficial favors to a company.
