In yet another surge the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully test fired the 1,000 km strike range sub-sonic cruise missile ‘Nirvay’ from the Odisha coast on Monday. Describing it as the country’s first ever indigenously designed and developed long range missile, said the Aeronautical Development Establishment. It has a pay load capacity of 100 to 300 payload and has a striking range of 1000 to 1,500 kms.
