Bidar, Dec 5: A woman, who was driving her car, was burnt alive when the vehicle caught fire, at Nirna cross in Chitguppa taluk in the district on Thursday morning.
According to police sources, the victim, who was driving the vehicle, caught on flame, and could not retrieve herself from the car. Three other family members, including, husband and children, of the victim, however escaped unhurt.
Fire authorities arrived to the scene and extinguished the flame. A case had been registered and further investigations were underway, sources added.
