‘Yagya’ by Hindu Sena to bless Trump to defeat ‘radical Islam’

New Delhi: The head of a fringe outfit in India and an ardent follower of US President Donald Trump — Vishnu Gupta has, believe it or not, arranged for a “Vishwa Shanti Yagya” or a World Peace Prayer.

The yagya, Hindu Sena says, is being organised on February 24, the day of the Trump’s visit, “to seek blessings from our Hindu Gods to bless Prime Minister Modi and US President Trump…”

But that’s not all. Here comes the twist. The yagya is being organised so that both Modi and Trump can “join forces and fight shoulder to shoulder to free the world from Radical Islamic fanatics, who are the biggest threat to mankind and wipe off these enemies of humanity from the face of the earth”.

Trump is known for his strong views against Islamic hardliners and Hindu Sena too never shied away from exhibiting its non liking for Islamic radicalism. Now Gupta has found a common ground.

A poster too has been released for the purpose where Modi and Trump are seen waving. The yagya is being organised at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.

This is not the first time, Gupta tried to catch eye balls by showing his affection for Trump. Earlier he organised birthday celebrations for the US President where a cake weighing 7 kg was cut and fed to a large poster bearing Trump’s face.

Just as India announced Trump’s arrival plans, the outfit released a video message where it called him the “saviour of humanity”.

Hindu Sena, however, remains just a fringe outfit which made headlines by objecting to beef allegedly being served in Delhi’s Kerala House canteen, to celebration of Valentine’s Day.

Earlier this month, it warned youngsters against exhibiting public display of affection on February 14. It in fact wrote to the Delhi police commissioner, in this regard, as well.
