Aditya Birla Group was conferred the Employment Excellence Award by Govt of Odisha on Monday, as “Star Employer” for outstanding contribution in employment generation in the State in Conventional Industries category. Mr Ardhendu Mohapatra, Head- Corp Affairs, Aditya Birla, Odisha received the felicitation from CM Shri Mohan Charan Majhi at a state-level function at Bhubaneswar. Minister, Industries Shri Sampad Chandra Swain, Chief Secretary Mr Manoj Ahuja, Development Commissioner Smt Anu Garg and Additional Chief Secretary Industries Mr Hemant Sharma were present among others.
Within last 15 months, during the period from June 2024 till September 2025, as many as 12,415 persons were recruited by various industries of Aditya Birla Group in Odisha, which include over 9480 employees who are domicile of Odisha. The percentage of Odia recruitees is above 76 percent. Govt of Odisha thanked Aditya Birla for giving priority to Odisha candidates in employment.
