The primary focus of these initiatives is to enhance regional connectivity and ease of travel.

Key Highlights of the Event:

  1. Inauguration of Namo Bharat Corridor:
    • Route: Sahibabad to New Ashok Nagar.
    • Length: 13 km.
    • Cost: Around Rs 4,600 crore.
    • Significance: First Namo Bharat connectivity in Delhi, improving travel between Delhi and Meerut.
  2. Inauguration of Delhi Metro Phase-IV Section:
    • Route: Janakpuri to Krishna Park.
    • Length: 2.8 km.
    • Cost: Around Rs 1,200 crore.
    • Impact: Enhances connectivity in West Delhi, benefiting areas like Krishna Park, Vikaspuri, and Janakpuri.
  3. Foundation Stone for Delhi Metro Phase-IV Extension:
    • Route: Rithala to Kundli.
    • Length: 26.5 km.
    • Cost: Around Rs 6,230 crore.
    • Benefits: Boosts connectivity in North-West Delhi and Haryana, linking key areas such as Rohini, Bawana, Narela, and Kundli.
  4. Foundation Stone for Central Ayurveda Research Institute:
    • Location: Rohini, Delhi.
    • Cost: Around Rs 185 crore.
    • Facilities: Administrative, OPD, IPD, and Treatment Blocks.
    • Objective: To enhance healthcare and research in Ayurveda.
